Chicken Pork Adobo

INGREDIENTS:

1 Kilo pork, cut into cubes
1 kilo chicken, cut into cubes
3 heads garlic, minced
1 yellow onion, diced
1/2 soy sauce
5 bay leaves
2 cups water
salt and pepper, to taste
oregano
basil
4 tablespoons cooking oil


1. In a big saucepan, cook pork and chicken. Add garlic, onion, soy sauce, bay leaves and water. Bring to boil. Cover and simmer for 30 minutes or when pork is tender.
2. Remove the pork and chicken form the saucepan. In another pan, heat cooking oil and brown the pork and chicken for a few minutes.
3. Return the browned pork and chicken in the sauce. Add salt, pepper, oregano and basil. simmer for 5 minutes. Serve and Enjoy
