Baked Spaghetti

INGREDIENTS:

800g                     Spaghetti Noodles
2tbsp.                   Cooking oil
1 1/2 cups             Chopped Onions
600g                     Ground Beef
1 Medium Can      Spaghetti Sauce
1 Big Can              Crushed Tomatoes
1 Can                     Mushrooms, Chopped
1/2 tbsp.                Italian Seasoning
2 Tbsps                 Garlic Chopped
1 Small Can           Tomato Paste
100g                      Parmesan Cheese
3                           Whole eggs
1/2 cup                  Butter
800g                      Cottage Cheese
850g                      Mozzarella Cheese
                             Salt and Pepper to taste

1.  In a Large sauce pot, heat cooking oil. Saute garlic and onions. Add beef and cook over medium heat until meat is no longer pink. Drain excess fat. Stir in the tomato paste, spaghetti sauce and crushed tomatoes. Simmer for 30 minutes. Add mushrooms to the sauce. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Set aside.

2. In a large bowl, whisk eggs, Parmesan cheese and butter. Mix in cooked spaghetti and toss noodles in the egg cheese mixture.

3. In a medium bowl, combine cottage cheese and mozzarella cheese. Set aside. Place half of the coated spaghetti in a greased baking dish. Pour half of the cheese layer, followed by the meat sauce. Make a second layer, starting with the meat sauce and ending with the cheese layer. Cover and bake at 350 F for 30-40 minutes,or until cheese melts.
